2026 Spring Recital

The Spring recital was fantastic! Thank you to ULM faculty and staff for the use of the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall. A special thank you to the Sims Bakery (Alena Sims), Dr. Kari Johnstone, and all who attended. Simply attending shows support and encouragement for all students. There were two recitals and both were amazing. Even though so many studetns weren't able to attend, about fifty students performed. Piano solos, piano duets, student compositions and a piano/flute duet- all wonderful and beautiful. Every year I hear progression and improvement.

Lessons are optional during the summer months (June-August). A lesson here and there or every week, just let your instructor know. Lots of fun activities are planned! 2026 has been a rocky year for so many. So please, take time to breathe this summer and enjoy life. Make time for moments with friends and family and relax a little. Students don't forget about your piano! It will mis you!
