Valentine's Day Recital and LFMC competition 2025

We had an optional Valentine's Day recital at Landmark Nursing home in West Monroe. It was a small turnout but each student played a few peices and I know the residents enjoyed it very much. After the students played Mrs. Jess and Mr. Elijah played hymns and a few well known classics. The nursing home has a wonderful grand piano! Thank you for all who came!

Our Louisiana Festival piano competition was at ULM and I am pleased to say everyone did very well! There were almost 100 participants! Next year students will be rated individually like they were this year, but will also compete with students in their level for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place during an afternoon recital. This will be an all day event for our teachers in the area and a lot of work and preparation, but I am looking forward to it!
